Just Try and Shut Me up Mrs. Pelosi!

There's no shutting this mouth!

What do you think you are worth?  Honestly, do you see yourself as a person with value and if so, do your actions reflect your beliefs?

Dating sucks and marriage is hard.  (This completes the motivational portion of my blog today.)  Yes! I know I’m a complete Debbie downer at times. But I was once married. And the single life was greener pastures in my mind then.  And now that I’m single, I still believe the single life is the greener pastures!! *adding a cruel laugh here*

Oh I’m just kidding…sort of.

Everyone knows the girl who lets a guy walk all over her. As a reformed doormat, I feel qualified to speak on the matter.  And yes, to go all Dr.Phil on your ass, I think you teach people how to treat you.  And why do people, men included, allow being treated as such?

I believe it’s because they don’t realize they are more valuable than the way they are allowing themselves to be treated.  Now, can I get a what, what for the deep thoughts with Jack Handey?

If people want to be a part of my life now, professional or personally, they sure as hell better understand  I see value in myself and fully expect to be treated as such.  That doesn’t mean I fail from time to time, especially when they smell really good or have awesome arms.  OR, their name is Henrik Lundqvist.

I spoke with a girlfriend the other day and we were lamenting over certain men.  I think every girl tends to have that guy that is her Achilles heel. Maybe men have an equivalent to that, I don’t know.  But I could sit and preach to her all day on how I see so much value in her that I know for a fact she deserves much better.  And with my whole heart I believe that.  Don’t you hate it when you can’t control who you love?

I’m telling you, unrequited love is the worst kind there is.  Sadly, there are a lot of people, that advance their own agendas, but at zero benefit to you.

And along the lines of seeing value in people and pushing your own agenda, here is what pisses me off beyond belief.

Every morning I love reading founding father quotes and/or stories.  It’s inspiring to me. I think it’s easy to lump that entire timeline together in our minds, but the Revolutionary war occurred over a period of 7 years from 1775 to 1783.  However, the actual ‘Revolutionary Era’ began in 1763.  That’s when the grumblings of “taxation without representation” was the Colonial topic du jour.  (I know you are totally saying, holy crap! I came here for SEX and now I get HISTORY? Say goodbye to your morning wood! But I need you to concentrate man!)

On top of the taxation, “British mercantilist policies benefiting the home country resulted in trade restrictions, which limited the growth of the American economy and artificially constrained colonial merchants’ earning potential.”  Doesn’t a lot of that sound like it could have been published just today?

Those “pesky” founding fathers realized something very important. They had value. And they were going to make damned certain they were going to be treated as such.  And many died for that belief.  As their victories grew and our Constitution was penned, they had this uncanny ability to foresee those things that would bring destruction to their founding ideals.  They could see the value way back then, in all of us today and they wrote a Constitution that fully realized all those values in all men, created equally. Each person, each child, each corporation, each asshole entity, has a right to voice their opinions and always be protected from their Government stripping them of any said rights.

This week I’m sure you have heard of Nancy Pelosi proposing a bill called the Peoples’ Rights Amendment.  It basically takes your First Amendment rights bought for you in founders blood and lines the bottom of a bird-cage with it.  In section 2 of this bill it states…”People, person, or persons as used in this Constitution does not include corporations, limited liability companies or other corporate entities established by the laws of any state, the United States, or any foreign state, and such corporate entities are subject to such regulation as the people, through their elected state and federal representatives, deem reasonable and are otherwise consistent with the powers of Congress and the States under this Constitution.”

Who the hell does Mrs. Pelosi think Corporations or companies are?  They are people, AMERICAN PEOPLE! In her efforts to shut up those who oppose her, she and her leftist minions are pushing for this bill.  It completely changes the First Amendment. And if they can change that, then how soon do they shut up the likes of me?

I hate to break this to her, but just because the voice I use is completely, wholly and passionately the polar opposite of hers, does not mean I do not have the right to voice it as loud and as free as I can. I will incorporate my name at some point as my career in this field grows. Will she then have the ability to shut me up?

How pathetic and sad is it that Mrs Pelosi seems to be assuming the position of King George III, not to mention as damn near as ugly, think that WE THE PEOPLE, do not have as much to a right of free speech and protection from our Government if we assume the position of a company or corporation.

I SWEAR TO GOD….Give me liberty….or give me death.
